Ethnic Diversity in Engineering
Diversity is key for a successful engineering industry.
People from Black, Asian and minority ethnic groups currently make up a small percentage of those in the engineering industry. Here at the University of Sheffield AMRC Training Centre, we are firmly committed to creating and providing equal opportunities for all, closing this gap and promoting racial equality. We know that a diverse and inclusive workforce only improves creativity and output. We welcome students from all backgrounds, cultures and origins.
We are working with the University of Sheffield and HeppSY and looking into how we can break down the barriers preventing the racial equality that we strive for in the engineering industry. This film is the first part of our project together. You can also watch it on YouTube here.
