Our impact

We are transforming people’s lives and making an impact on the skills landscape, not only regionally, but nationally.

We’re pulling together the roots for outstanding impact - making good things happen and growing future prosperity for manufacturing in South Yorkshire.

    Since 2013, we've been making a positive impact:

  • We have recruited 2,226 apprentices.
  • Worked with more than 400 different businesses - from small start-ups to major companies. 
  • Spoke to 22,000 schoolchildren between December 2023 and May 2024. 
  • Helped attract advanced manufacturing businesses and their supply chain to South Yorkshire. Companies like Boeing and McLaren. Giving them access to a skills pipeline of talent to power their factories. 
  • Created a pathway to social mobility, opening doors to exciting careers in manufacturing. Some of our learners are the first in their families to pursue a qualification at the level they studied during their time at the AMRC Training Centre.
